Andrzej is an accomplished professional with a robust academic and industry background. He earned his Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of Minnesota in 1991. Following his doctorate, Andrzej began his career as a lecturer in mathematics and computer science at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia.
In 2000, Andrzej transitioned to the gaming industry, where he worked as a game developer in the Bay Area. Over the next seven years, he made significant contributions to various video game projects, most notably The Sims 2 (Maxis/Electronic Arts). His expertise later led him to roles at tech giants Google and Microsoft.
Since 2017, Andrzej has been an integral part of BlueRider, where he currently serves as the Head of Development. Beyond his professional achievements, Andrzej has a passion for sailing, which he enjoys in his leisure time.
Tomasz Roszko is an accomplished entrepreneur with a unique blend of sales acumen and technical expertise. His extensive experience as a Python programmer and his involvement in various startups, including Opentopic, Autologyx, and MyNameFlow, enable him to seamlessly integrate business needs with cutting-edge technology solutions.
Tomasz is deeply passionate about leveraging technology and artificial intelligence to address real-world challenges. His outstanding contributions to the field were recognized by IBM, naming him an IBM Champion in 2017 and 2018 for his innovative work with IBM Watson technologies.
Outside of his professional life, Tomasz is an avid CrossFit enthusiast. He believes there’s always a good time to do some push-ups!
Sebastian Burzyński is a distinguished graduate of the Bialystok University of Technology and a seasoned hackathon participant with a wealth of technical expertise and exceptional people management skills. His innovative projects have repeatedly earned top honors in hackathons, with notable implementations including the Tech To The Rescue project Authentic Authism and the AirVocacy air quality monitoring initiative in Thailand.
Sebastian is also a community leader, organizing the PyStok local Python Users Group.
Beyond his professional achievements, Sebastian is an amateur photographer and an active member of the BlueRider CrossFit team. He thrives on adrenaline-fueled activities such as skydiving, bungee jumping, driving fast cars, and handling weapons.
Julian Marland is Executive Director of Innovator Founders Capital, which runs three closed VC funds set up originally under the True Global Ventures brand.
Two of the funds have been shareholders in BlueRider since 2022 and the involvement of BlueRider with TGV dates back to 2013, when Bluerider provided the technical solution for a TGV portfolio company.
Julian now works closely with Tomasz, Andrzej and the rest of the BlueRider team to leverage the IFC and TGV networks to help with sourcing high quality business leads and with investment strategy.
