At first glance, all cloud giants seem to offer the same thing. However, the real advantage lies in synergy and alignment with a specific project. Choosing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for Assistik.ai was a strategic decision dictated by the environment in which our partner, the School Foundation (Fundacja Szkolna), operates. The Foundation’s students and teachers already use tools like Google for Education, and a key element of our application is its interface, embedded directly within Google Chat.

This setup made choosing the Gemini model as our AI engine a natural next step. Although integration with other LLMs was possible, opting for Google’s integrated solution was the most seamless and guaranteed the consistency of the entire system. In practice, the Gemini LLM is responsible for intelligently generating questions, and the Google Chat interface delivers them in the form of engaging, interactive cards. This is not a random collection of technologies, but a deliberate ecosystem designed to benefit the end user.
